The Grand Canyon At Last!

Well, here we are. One of the main objectives of our trip is finally reached! As usual, I'll let the pictures do most of the talking.

In short, it's spectacular. The light powdering of snow lent a sort of winter ambience to it, even though we didn't need the ambience to know that it's cold here! Oh well, it's still pretty!
Hopefully tomorrow there will be lots more pictures...

Oak Creek Canyon

Pretty soon after Red Rock Park we got to this place. This part of the country sure has some great scenery.

So...the result of the aforementioned juggling of camera and laptop. I managed to snag these photos while driving through a spectacular area of red stone and canyons.

 

Pretty spectacular, considering that I've never seen anything like this before.
